want to be an admin?
Hi!
Jay here. Transitioned trans male, 11 years on T as of last month (totally forgot to celebrate this year!), he/him pronouns, Madison, Wisconsin, depressed, queer, masc-ish presenting, more nonbinary than binary (probably), etc etc. Self employed reseller, amateur writer.
I'm basically just gonna make the first ten people who join admins. If you actually don't want to be an admin, comment here or PM me.
Feel free to add to the profile, recruit people, suggest user pics, and similar. Rules and guidelines will be needed at some point, though I'm hoping we can just agree to "practice mutual respect, be inclusive, no personal attacks" for simple rules.
Other people should feel free to jump in with introductions!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm Rose (they/them), FAAB and genderqueer. Any agender folks who don't want their allocated quantities of gender are welcome to send them to me; I will take them alllll. In the last three days I bought two binders and two twirly dresses. I probably won't wear them together. Regardless of gender, my personal style is "I dressed like this on purpose", and anyone who wants fashion advice of any sort, for any body, is welcome to ping me.
I have two partners (one agender, one cis male) and one toddler (no stated gender preference yet) and three cats (two nominally female and one ostentatiously male) and live in Brooklyn.

I'm a bisexual trans man, he/him. Knew I was trans since I was 14, socially transitioned by 18, on T since I was 23, top surgery at 29, now 34. I'm currently happy with my body and my gender presentation, but also starting to explore some of the nuances of my gender that I think got lost while I was (by necessity) focused on transitioning. I wouldn't quite say I'm nonbinary but I also don't think "male" completely covers it.
Looking male and being monogamously married to a cis woman, I feel sometimes like I am disappearing into straight/cis society, and I don't want to do that. I live in a somewhat remote area and there aren't a lot of resources for LGBT people here. Being trans and bi is important to me and I never want to lose those parts of my identity. So having a place to talk about gender is definitely interesting to me right now. I hope the comm takes off!

I'm cis but (hopefully) cool... at work I'm a manager and wind up doing bits of trans advocacy just on behalf of my direct reports, and they've taught me a lot. Most notably, that I don't have a firm enough commitment to my own internal sense of gender to bother changing it (so perhaps I'm agender but too lazy, on this particular issue, to do anything about it).
